ISCA President Teo Ser Luck and CEO Fann Kor flew the flag for Singapore as they embarked on the Institute’s first overseas trip this year – to Jakarta – on January 22 and 23. During the packed two-day schedule, they signed three Memoranda of Understanding – with Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI), Institut Akuntan Publik Indonesia (IAPI), and London School of Accountancy and Finance (LSAF).

The partnership with IAI will centre on enhancing the profession’s appeal, exploring membership pathways, and sharing of expertise in sustainability reporting and assurance. The collaboration with IAPI involves sharing resources like the ISCA Audit Manual and SMPs On-the-Job Training blueprints, fostering cross-training for SMPs, enhancing audit quality, and facilitating cross-border networks.

LSAF is now ISCA’s approved learning centre in Indonesia, offering high-quality training aligned to international standards. Those who are keen to learn more about the Singapore Chartered Accountants Qualification (SCAQ) can reach out to LSAF.
